CHARACTER
Name: Missile
Canon: Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective
Age: 2
Timeline: Right before Sissel rewinds time to 4 minutes before Yomiel's death.
If playing another character from the same canon, how will you deal with this?: N/A

Personality: Missile is, quite simply, a dog. To be more specific, he's a Pomeranian. But since he's a dog and definitely not a human, his thought processes are often simpler than that of humans, or even a cat. Firstly, Missile's loyalties lie with his mistresses, Lynne and Kamila. For those two, who have cared for him his whole life, he would do anything for them, including turning back time and waiting ten years for the perfect opportunity to save them from their deaths. Even in his own death, his priorities are Kamila and Lynne's safety. He loves his mistresses above all and would do whatever it takes to keep them safe.

Emotionally, Missile is very simple. He's never unhappy, and always overenthusiastic. He never really seems to understand in depth what's going on around him (since his own death didn't impact him very hard), but he knows enough to know what needs to be done. He's selfless, willing to stay dead just so he could have the power to save people. He also loves to help people, since it proves he can do something, and he's all about making his own way in the world. Missile's a fluffball of positivity and determination, and it's hard to stay unhappy with him around.

He's not the type to question things, though he does ask what things are if he doesn't know what they are. He's sort of dumb, but it's actually more like he's just simple, exactly what you'd expect from a dog. There are a lot of things in the world that he doesn't know, so when he encounters them he often makes sense of them in his own way, like when he called a bullet a "tiny Mino" (as both the bullet and the Mino statue had killed people by hitting their heads), or when he later called Mino a giant sweet potato (since they both had the same shape and apparently forgot Mino's involvement in the death at the park). He refers to telephones as "Hello?"s, since that's often the first thing people say when picking up the phone, and he doesn't know what a hostage is (they never explain to him what it is either.)

Missile is an extremely loyal and enthusiastic dog that would do whatever he could to help others, especially his mistresses. If you ever wanted a dog, you would want a dog like Missile (he's a top Pomeranian too!)

Background: Missile is the pet dog of Detective Lynne and Kamila, his two mistresses. He first encounters Sissel after he's shot dead by Tengo the assassin, and his mistress Kamila tied up. At first, he doesn't remember who he is, since the newly dead tend to forget the memories of their life for a while. However, thanks to some reminding from Sissel, Missile remembers who he is and instantly asks Sissel to help save Kamila, even though he was the one who died. With Sissel's ghost tricks, Sissel saves Missile's life and prevents Kamila from getting tied up by hiding her under the sofa.

Returning to the present, after Kamila leaves the apartment with the music box, Missile decides he needs to "open a path" for himself and tries to leave the apartment by banging himself against the door. Some time after Sissel leaves him, he manages to grab the handle to the door of the apartment and open it, letting himself out. Instantly, he chases after Kamila to Temsik Park, where he's run over by Dandy's motorcycle and killed again. This time, however, he dies in the presence of the Temsik meteorite's radiation and gains Ghost Tricks.

However, by the time he woke up, Kamila had been crushed under the giant oval stone deity Mino. In desperation he reached out to her soul and found that he now possessed the Ghost Trick abilities Sissel had, and uses it to save Kamila. Unfortunately, as a result of saving Kamila, he winds up killing a Youth who advocated for the park. Not wanting to kill anyone, he kept rewinding time over to see if he could do anything to prevent the Youth's death. However, he couldn't find a way. Luckily though, Sissel happens upon the Youth's dead body and turns back time, meeting Missile along the way. The two team up to avert the Youth's fate.

After promising to Lynne that he'll take care of Kamila, Missile (who was possessing a leaf) gets blown away by the wind and is set adrift for a while. He encounters Sissel again at the junkyard office, while Sissel attempts to save the superintendent from getting killed by the manipulator. Again, the two team up to save both the superintendent and Inspector Cabanela from death.

Lynne and Jowd manage to track down the manipulator to a submarine, and Sissel takes a phone line to the sub while Missile somehow gets there through means unexplained (It's likely that he just followed Lynne and Jowd into the submarine.) There, they find Lynne dead for the fifth time and Kamila scared. Missile stays with Kamila while Sissel saves Lynne. Then they find out that the submarine is slowly filling with water and it tips upright, forcing Sissel and Missile to work to get Lynne and Kamila to the top of the sub. Thankfully, they're rescued by Yomiel, who has now lost his body and the Temsik shard in it foolishly. He explains everything he's done to them, and then Lynne decides to send Sissel and Missile to Jowd and Yomiel's body, which were in the ejected control room of the sub and sinking in the middle of the ocean.

Because Yomiel's body had the shard removed, it returned to a normal corpse, allowing Sissel to turn back time on it, to ten years in the past when Yomiel first died. Along with Sissel, Yomiel, Missile and Jowd save Yomiel from his fate using the former three's ghost tricks, and then all is well.

While Sissel goes back to the present, Ray, the lamp that helped Sissel in the beginning, reveals himself to be an alternate timeline Missile who, helpless in his own timeline, turned back time on Yomiel's body and waited for this fateful night to come around again. As it turns out, Missile was the one who directed Sissel towards Yomiel. But with Yomiel's fate averted, he would now cease to exist. Before disappearing, Missile thanks Sissel for all he's done.

Abilities: As a ghost, Missile has the power of Ghost Tricks! In specific, he can possess objects, speak to those with cores of the dead, swap objects that have the same shape at the same angle, and turn back time to 4 minutes before someone's death and change reality such that the death didn't happen. Unlike Sissel though, Missile's unable to use telephone lines as a mode of transportation.

First Person:
[Greetings, Ruby City! Have a video of a... actually, you're not sure what it's a video of, because it just looks like blackness to you. At least, for the first few seconds it does until something shifts and backs away, and suddenly you're looking at a cute dog who had been pressing his nose against the camera earlier!

The dog paws at the feed, and it doesn't seem like he's actually all that aware that the video's on. He's also barking at the communicator it seems, but it's probably more to himself.
]

Oooh, what is this? It looks like that thing the man in white gave to Detective Jowd! I think he called it a "pocket watch"... but what do pocket watches do?

Third Person: It wasn't often that Missile cared about the situation occurring around him. He was just a dog, after all; what did it matter to him? All he cared about were his wonderful mistresses, Miss Lynne and Miss Kamila, his next meal, and interesting things! And for most of his life, he only had to worry about whether or not Miss Lynne would get angry at him for barking, or if the lady next door would bang down the wall and crush him under it. He was just a sheltered apartment dog, after all!

But this was different. Missile didn't quite get the whole picture of what was going on, but he knew they were in a place surrounded by lots of water (which was already bad news, because he hated baths!), but on top of that, his mistresses were relying on him to help them get out. Missile didn't usually doubt his and Sissel's ability to fix things, but he knew the feeling of being unable to help despite having ghost tricks. He couldn't save the poor guy at the park by himself; he had needed Sissel's help.

What if this time, his and Sissel's abilities weren't enough? Sissel could do so many things he couldn't, but this time, there was just so much more going on! Missile didn't really understand how much more, but it was a lot more, that much he knew. What if whatever it is they needed to save Miss Lynne and Miss Kamila never came? He couldn't bear being unable to see his mistresses, the people who took care of him his whole life, again... He just couldn't!

But... Miss Kamila believed he could do it. She and Miss Lynne both completely believed he and Sissel would come back and save them. And he couldn't betray their faith in good conscience! So, with a heavy heart, he jumped into the torpedo, and as it launched the two ghosts into the deep ocean, he looked back at his wonderful, lovely, caring mistresses and hoped that this truly wouldn't be the last time he'd ever see them...
